Client stories
“Amaza didn’t just give a timeline; they stuck to it. The finishing details are flawless and professional. It feels like a 5-star hotel.”
The four routes
Four ways to get a bespoke kitchen in Karachi. We have written out all four, including the parts where we are not the obvious answer.
Who actually manufactures it?
Amaza
Our own workshop in DHA Phase 6. You can visit it.
Imported range
A factory in Europe, to a fixed catalogue.
Showroom brand
Subcontracted out, and it can change between orders.
Architect + carpenter
Whichever carpenter is free that month.
Every hand-off between people is a millimetre lost. It is the single thing that decides whether a run of doors reads as one surface.
Can you see it in your own room first?
Amaza
3D 360° walkthrough of your actual space, before anything is cut.
Imported range
A catalogue and a showroom display of someone else's room.
Showroom brand
A showroom display.
Architect + carpenter
Usually a flat drawing, sometimes a sketch.
You cannot object to a mistake you were never shown. This is where most regret is created.
Is the hardware named on the quote?
Amaza
Blum and Hettich, series named in writing.
Imported range
Yes — and it is excellent. This is where imported ranges earn their price.
Showroom brand
Often just “imported”.
Architect + carpenter
Whatever was bought locally that week.
Runners and hinges are what fail first and what you touch every day. If a quote will not name the brand, that is where the saving is being made.
When does it finish?
Amaza
A written schedule agreed before production starts.
Imported range
Add ten to sixteen weeks of shipping to whatever you are told.
Showroom brand
Whenever the subcontractor's queue allows.
Architect + carpenter
Open-ended, in practice.
A date you can hold someone to is a different product from a date you were given.
Who comes back in year two?
Amaza
The same team that fitted it. Same number, same workshop.
Imported range
A local agent, if the agency still exists.
Showroom brand
Back through the showroom to the subcontractor.
Architect + carpenter
You find the carpenter again.
Joinery moves in its first year. Somebody has to come and adjust it, and that is when you find out what you bought.
And a replacement front in year three?
Amaza
Re-machined from the same stock, matched to the run.
Imported range
Re-ordered and re-shipped, if the range still exists.
Showroom brand
Depends entirely on whether that range is still sold.
Architect + carpenter
Matching an old batch is unlikely.
Kitchens get damaged. The question is whether one damaged door means one door or a whole new run.
How is the price presented?
Amaza
Itemised — carcass, fronts, worktop, hardware, lighting.
Imported range
Itemised, and typically the highest of the four.
Showroom brand
Usually a single package figure.
Architect + carpenter
Labour and materials, loosely.
A single number hides where the money went and, more importantly, where it was saved.
When we are not the answer
If what you want is a particular European range, with that name on the inside of the door and the resale story that comes with it — buy it. We will fit it properly and we will not pretend our version is the same thing.
What we are better at is a room built for your room: measured on site, drawn in 3D, machined in Karachi, and adjusted by the same people two years later.

For architects & interior designers
Send us a set and we will come back with a manufacturing drawing, a materials schedule and a price — not a mood board. We work to your detail, we protect your relationship with the client, and we do not put our logo on your project.
